We don’t — Bold Water Pools focuses exclusively on new pool construction, renovations, remodels, equipment repairs, and outdoor living upgrades. We don’t offer routine cleaning, maintenance, or leak detection services.
We specialize in residential pools. We do build commercial fountains, but we don’t take on commercial pool projects.
Bold Water Pools was founded in 2025, but our owner, Ryan Lucas, has been building pools in South Florida since 2012. That’s over a decade of hands-on experience across everything from straightforward residential builds to fully custom luxury projects.
Yes. Bold Water Pools is a state-licensed and insured pool contractor. We’re also a Jandy Certified Pro installer.

Yes — we handle all permitting as part of our process, so you’re never chasing down paperwork or waiting on approvals yourself.
Absolutely. One of the most common frustrations homeowners have with pool construction is never seeing a project manager on site. We built Bold Water Pools specifically to solve that. A project manager is present on site for every phase of the build, and you’ll always have a direct point of contact throughout the project.

Yes to all three. These are some of our most popular add-ons, and we integrate them seamlessly into custom pool designs. We also install fire features, LED lighting packages, automation systems, and full outdoor living upgrades.
Renovations & Remodels
A renovation updates what’s already there — new plaster, tile, coping, equipment upgrades, or added features like a waterfall or LED lighting. A remodel goes further — it reimagines the space entirely, which could mean resizing or reshaping the pool, reconfiguring a spa, redesigning the deck, or starting fresh with the layout while keeping the existing shell.
Often, yes. If the structure is in good shape, a renovation can make your pool feel completely new at a fraction of the cost of building from scratch. During your consultation, we’ll give you an honest assessment of what’s worth keeping and what’s worth updating.
That’s exactly what the consultation is for. We’ll take a look at your existing pool, talk through your goals, and give you an honest recommendation — whether that’s a targeted renovation, a full remodel, or a new build.
We handle Diamond Brite and plaster resurfacing, tile and coping replacement, pool deck renovation, water feature additions, tanning ledge additions, LED lighting upgrades, saltwater conversions, automation system installation, and energy-efficient equipment upgrades, among others.
Repairs & Equipment
Yes. We repair and replace pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, LED lights, valves, plumbing, and more. We’re Jandy Certified, so automation system repair and programming is something we do particularly well.

Yes. We work with pools we didn’t build all the time. Whether you’re looking to upgrade to a variable speed pump, add a smart automation system, or convert to saltwater, we can assess your current setup and walk you through the best options.
Financing
Yes. Bold Water Pools works with two industry-leading pool financing partners — Lyon Financial and HFS Financial — to offer competitive loan options for both new construction and renovations.
Lyon Financial offers fixed-rate loans from $10,000 to $200,000+, with terms up to 20 years and no home equity required. HFS Financial offers unsecured home improvement loans — no appraisal, no home equity, no collateral required — with no prepayment penalties and an easy online application.
Both lenders work with a range of credit profiles. The best way to know what you qualify for is to apply directly — it’s quick and doesn’t affect your credit score just to check your options.
Yes — both Lyon Financial and HFS offer financing for renovations and remodels, not only new construction.
